The re-scheduled Epsom & Ewell Hustings on Tuesday evening went off well at St Martin's, where more than 150 people gathered to grill the General Election candidates.
The Lib Dem Group on Surrey County Council has elected Will Forster as its new Group Leader.
The Lib Dems gained 5 seats on Surrey County Council in the elections held on Thursday 6th May, resulting in the largest Lib Dem Group at County Hall since 1997.
Paul Kennedy, Liberal Democrat candidate for Surrey Police and Crime Commissioner, has challenged the Conservative candidate's claims that her links with Conservative Ministers will somehow deliver more police funding for Surrey. Experience shows that Ministers just take Surrey Conservatives for granted, preferring to channel extra funding to "red wall" seats in the North.
As liberals, we believe that true equality is achieved when individuals are not only free from prejudice and discrimination, but also free to fulfil their potential. So fighting for LGBTQ+ rights is not a choice Liberals make.
