Meet your Liberal Democrat Candidate for May's 2026 Elections

Julian Freeman for Ewell. 

Julian is a serving councillor for Epsom & Ewell Borough Council and has many years of experience across different committees and local initiatives, giving him a deep understanding of how local government works. He also has a background in social housing, which began with feeding the homeless in London, shaping his long-standing commitment to supporting vulnerable people. Professionally, he has worked in IT,  bringing practical problem-solving skills to his work in the community. He lives in Ewell Village and is actively involved in his church community, volunteering locally. When he’s not doing that, you may find him spending time with his children as a dedicated family man. Julian is committed to being part of a fresh start for Ewell Village, Stoneleigh, Nonsuch, and East Surrey, standing with a party that genuinely cares about listening to residents and making sure services run properly.
