Local Government Reorganisation

Cllr Julie Morris, leader of the Liberal Democrat group, added “Unfortunately things are progressing at such a pace there is little time to assess what's best for Surrey as a whole.  Liberal Democrats, their MPs, councillors and members, are in contact across the county and will weigh up how best to reorganise things on behalf of residents, taking into account all the aspects of reorganising local government in line with what the Labour government has suggested are important.   We have until March for a draft plan, and May for a detailed plan.”
