Lionel Blackman wins Woodcote Ward By-election

The Lib Dems were returned to represent Woodcote ward on Epsom & Ewell Borough Council tonight, after an absence of less than two years. The polling results were:
- Lionel Blackman ( Lib Dem) .. 558 .. ELECTED
- Sean Sullivan (Conservative) 539
- Chris Frost (Residents Assoc) 436
- Jamie Milne (New Labour) ....... 74
