Join The Big Lunch - 19th July - Alexandra Recreation Ground!

A Big Lunch is planned for Alexandra Rec to support the national campaign, more details of which can be found on www.thebiglunch.com.

The plan is for a communal meal, with people celebrating local food - and home grown food - as far as possible. The event will involve sharing of picnics and food, plus a chance to meet and chat to neighbours. All very sustainable !

Whilst the national campaign is to have an event on each street, that's probably not realistic for Epsom and at such short notice but residents from the area might like to invite people in from other places and with an allotment site nearby, Alexandra Rec seems a good venue.
